As we move through March, the focus often shifts toward the upcoming months and the goals we hope to achieve. Part of that forward-looking mindset involves confirming that your family is shielded from sudden hardships. Having a reliable method for financial assistance in place helps maintain the rhythm of daily life when things change. It is a thoughtful way to honor the bonds you share with those closest to you.

I moved to Milwaukee in 2010 to attend the Peck School of the Arts at University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. I presumed I had found my passion and worked hard to get my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. Being the eleventh of twelve children, I had to work while in school and took a job working for a State Farm Agent, starting in 2012. It was there that I “accidentally” discovered my true passion. I really loved helping people protect their loved ones, their property and their financial goals. Their stories, concerns, and aspirations really mattered to me. Helping people meet their goals became MY goal.

Not only did I discover my professional passion while I was at UW-Milwaukee, I also found my life’s partner. After graduating with my B.F.A., I married Andy Ashley and we moved to the Louisville area. I worked for another State Farm agent for the year we were there, and then returned to my old boss when we moved back to Wisconsin. This time, there were three of us moving as Evey, our rescue dog, had joined us. We purchased a home in Milwaukee just in time for our baby daughter, Carol, to arrive in 2018. Our son, Alexander, joined our family just two years, Virginia joined our crew in 2024, and James made us a family of six just 17 months later.

Marriage and motherhood have not dimmed my enthusiasm for State Farm and the opportunity to help my customers so in 2019, I opened my own agency. The time since has been a rewarding challenge as I gathered and trained a team to provide outstanding service.
